Well, except for the fact that the game was played in Texas not Baton Rouge, and LSU not only beat #20 TCU by 10 but beat the spread by 5.5 points and had nearly 448 yards of offense (against that vaunted #1 defense in the Big 12), your statement is right on.

Keep in mind that this was the first game in the season. It is difficult to foresee how any team will actually play until they take the field. I know that every SEC coach is working to make adjustments for the next game.

It was a bit of a mess. I didn't see a single team that looked championship caliber and very few that even looked top 10.
