Just came across this article of a flying story that I had never heard before. Racing vintage ww2 bombers sounds like an awesome sport

WOW! I've seen the "Sentimental Journey" - she's one of the few still flying. I saw her in Macon back in the early 90s, when it was still the "Confederate Air Force". Even then the pilot was a bit of a hot dog - but I got some awesome pictures of a beautiful old War Bird.

Oh yes. no telling how much ddt fell on my head. One morning a line of new dish pans went through the garden and across the field I'm told as a means to measure the dispersion. It was cool watching them come over so low.
