No more 30cpr brass 5.56. Inflation took care of that.
Ammo import ban can be done with an EO. That will raise price on domesticly made 5.56, 9mm, etc.
7.62x39 is 95% imported. While price are somewhat lower and it is still coming in, I would buy as much as I could. That's only an EO away from doubling overnight.

This isn't meant to be a politically charged response, but I'm sure people will interpret it that way. Ya know, I keep seeing people blaming the ammo situation on liberalism. Let's be honest here - it's reactionary non-liberals who are actually doing most of the ammo hoarding. There is plenty of ammo to go around if gun owners would get back to sane and rational buying habits.

I'm not saying quit wanting this product, and I do realize it's a little more complicated than that. However, there's also a facet of human nature that triggers people to hoard. I mean, the world is full of toilet paper, yet there was none to be found this past year. That's due to reactionary hoarding behavior. I don't at all expect the ammo situation to get better any time soon, because I fully expect the hoarding behavior to continue.
