I have an IR Patrol M300W ... phenomenal thermal and very versatile. You can handhold it, helmet mount it, clip on with low powered optics, or use it as it's own optic with reticles you can turn on and off.
I've been running a Pulsar RXQ30V on my 10/22 with DA Mask for a few years. Fine setup, but I honestly prefer a NV optic and handheld thermal for scanning. I've had a Sightmark Wraith HD 2-16 for as long as I've had the Pulsar and can highly recommend it for NV. I added the ADM QD mount and it returns to zero very well.
