I don't own anything even remotely illegal and yet I'm torn about whether or not I'd let them in. I used to think "Come on in, I've got nothing to hide" but the last few years of watching the deep state in action has made me much less trusting of the government, particularly Feds. I dated a criminal defense lawyer for a while. After seeing some of the tactics used in her cases, I will never speak to the police without an attorney present. Nor agree to any search of anything without a warrant.
