Never bought any from publix and I usually break their neck. We grew up on them and squirrel

I can see squirrel and wild rabbits just fine. But just for ME I don't think I can break the necks of critters I went out and fed everyday. Not mammals anyway. But again that's just ME. I know it's no worse than what happens cows and pigs at the processor but that's another story.

Why not just eat fried dumplings with bacon smothered in bacon gravy and save yourself from having to clean out the belly button high crap pans?

Fried tame rabbit and gravy is the best thing I've ever eaten. Haven't had it in years since granddaddy passed but still remember and crave it. Especially when a snow storm comes. Knocked 1000 in the head when younger and cleaned them. Usually 30-40 on a Saturday morning. Now, later in life my heart does feel a little different but could I yes. Would I want to? Not so much. Really not too hard to control population if they are seperated you call the breeding shots.

Raised them as a kid. Learned alot of what not to do! Used the droppings for fertilizer in the garden. Worked great.
