Thinking of getting a Keltec PF9

I almost did that and was in the process of ringing it up when I saw the XDS sitting in the case. I made them put the PF9 back and I've not regretted it at all. I've put over 500 down the pipe of the XDS without one hiccup and it is the easiest CC gun I've owned.

I had one for a while. They are a very good value and mine was a fine handgun. Small and light. Accurate for the ranges it should be used at. The only negatives are the recoil is a little sharp because of the light weight and it has a fairly heavy trigger pull. I got it primarily for one of my daughters, but she didn't care for it for the above reasons. I never had a problem with it.

I have a PF9 and Bear44 is correct in his post. They are great for what they are but are not fun to shoot a lot. I also have a XDS as mentioned by Proximal and it is freakin' awesome and more accurate than you would expect a compact to be. Good luck with your choice.

I had one, it was junk. It FTF, FTE, so I sent it back to Kel-Tec. They said they did some things to it. Got it back same BS, but now you can add jamming up. Sent back again, they said they replaced everything and they left a note to not shoot junk ammo and had a list of what to use, I was using what they recommend. So I take it to the range, yep, nothing changed first shot FTE. Never again will I touch Kel Tec.

Had one, even with pinky extension it was too small for my hands. Traded it off... On the other hand it did shoot ok. I never had a FTE with it, and I WAS shooting junk ammo....
