Believe it or not getting in to some good whistle pig hunting is on my bucket list. Stalking meadows with my 6x Leupolds, My RAR 22MAG, and a cool breeze sounds close to nirvana. Call it a poor man's spot n stalk for "plains" game.
With a can you could even shoot subsonic quiet with your WMR

Been a little slow lately up here. But, things are about to change. The beans are coming up and the first cut of hay is done so it won't be long before we'll be seeing them in numbers again. There are a couple of pesky ones that I just can't get a shot at...

Well, just as predicted. The weather has cooled a bit and the sun is out bright and shiny. Things are lush and green, and the critters are hungry.

Quick deflation with the Subsonic CCI Segmented from around 75 yards. Ruger Charger with Custom 7.25" McGowan barrel and a P-Rimfire Nikon scope.
