This confuses my head....

Hard to believe they once sold an off road vehicle with seats in the back with handles. I still remember the commercials. That would seriously trigger some people today!

I'm looking for a set of the seats with handles if anyone know a good place....

Yeah, if you don't have a compressed vertebrae or two from riding in the hard plastic seats in the back of a brat I'm not sure you really grew up in the 80s!
That's the best place you can be. Between the front shocks/coils and the rear springs/coils...BUT, you do have a valid point. hard riding because virtually no cushion in the seat...

Looks like a takeoff on that Honda 4WD 'truck' they marketed. I'm guessing this is the electric Ford? It's a 'truck' you never get off the driveway AND you can pack the kiddies in it so you can 'haul' a big load out back (bikes, trikes, prams and sand play toys) when Mama dumps the younguns on you for the afternoon so she can go Wine-Spritzer it up with the 'girls.' Haha!

I don't see a problem, lol. When I was in Australia 10yrs ago, they had tons of vehicles like this. Way more common that pickup trucks. If you're not hauling anything heavy, it seems very practical to me. Just enough bed space to get stuff for a diy project or cart the kid's sports equip around. Most pickup trucks on the road are pretty neutered or are way overkill for what they're used for.

I think you may misunderstand. I think El Caminos are the shizzle. It's not about how practical it is or isn't. That thing in the OP is just some bizarre half breed I don't know what.
It may grow on me over time and I guess it's not as bad as this thing was.
