Battery Testing.
A lot of advice is given about testing the voltage. That is just in indicator. The other half is the amount of amps it can deliver.
Several years ago, I was looking for a carbon Filament load tester. Then this caught my eye TopDon BTmobile. It provides you with voltage,amps and battery internal resistance. that I use all the time with motorcycles, cars and riding mower battery’s. It will also test the alternator, charging ripple, crank test.
I bought my bike last year and had it out, when starting it seem sluggish.
I yank the battery out. Found out the battery is rated at 310 cca. My tester showed 230 cca. I brought the battery in to be tested at a auto parts store they got 210 cca.
Being a Bluetooth device you can simply cycle through all the test from the inside of the car. You will need to download the app to the phone. The app steps you through the tests.
To buy this domestically it will be from 50 to more than 100 dollars. Go to AliExpress it’s around 37 dollars but it may take several weeks to arrive.
