This is some bs!!!

Nope. Won't spend a single ****ing dime in that ****hole.

I understand the sentiment, but would your dime benefit the "evil" NYC more that seeing a new grandchild would benefit the family? Probably not. Calculated risks dude, and family affairs before everything else. That's my philosophy.

I would probably go for that reason. For tourism? Not a chance. I have a very good friend who lives in Chicago who is constantly trying to get me to come up. Not gonna happen. We see each other when he comes to Georgia.

Chicago is a very dangerous city depending on were u r and whether or not your street smart. I lived outside Chicago for 5 years and I love the city. Very beautiful with lots of sites and things to do. Of course Chicago only has 2 seasons summer and winter and I can tell u from experience the summers up there are far more brutal then they are here in the south. And talk about cold.

Take it anyway, better to be judged by 12, even if native New Yorkers, than to have yourself or a family member carried to the grave by 6.

I hear on the news about the gang shootings in Chicago. I thought I read somewhere that if you had a pistol in your vehicle while in Illinois it had to be locked in your trunk and disassembled. Wonder if that is so, and what good is it in your trunk?
