Doubled her weight in 3 weeks.
How are they getting along? Pippa still queen bee?

They get along great. I'm not sure if Pippa will remain the queen when Grace gets bigger.

After having a single cockatoo for almost 30 years now, Tabitha demanded her own.
I told her we could not get a baby bird as I got mine when I was young and she will still outlive me by decades, so we found Pippin in one of my bird groups where the people were losing their home and couldn't take him. There were dozens of "takers" but I offered her cash so he wouldn't go to another bad home where he would be a commodity instead of a beloved companion. Before them, he was in an abusive home and he barbered his feathers and is now phobic of men and sticks as he was beat up for being "too loud".
However, someone when he was young a long time ago must have loved him very much as he knows how to share a sandwich, eat from a spoon, drink from a cup and say many things.
He LOVES Tabitha and only comes to her. She is just smitten with him. She cooks him his own cockatoo breakfast every morning and spoils him all day long. He still has night terrors and she goes and gets him to soothe his fright.
He's really a good little bird and he has allowed me to pet him. Her son reminds him of someone from his past that he was really fond of, so he just chatters away when he sees him. Tabs' son is a kind, gentle person and will treat Pippin as a family member.
