This was a first for me

I don't understand. So if someone exercises their right to carry however they want they are immediately labeled a douchebag? If I'm not mistaken that person probably paid his money and passed that same background check that the rest of us passed to have that right. What if someone has a hip issue, or a back issue and cant stick their weapon inside their pants. There could be a thousand reasons why people do what they do and it is not up to you or me or anyone else to judge them. It is that kind of thing that I hate to hear someone say. Just think before you speak and the world would be a lot better off.

He was also wearing an Obama/Biden t-shirt and wearing a rainbow Fanny pack.

The people that carry open or concealed isn't the problem, it is the know it all mall ninja's that condemn the mode of carry that is the problem. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but don't call someone names because they don't agree with you....that shows your ignorance, not theirs. If someone approached me about how I carry, I would tell them to get a life and stop trying to be a DEMOCRAT (the party that knows what is best for everyone). It isn't your job to decide if their chosen mode of carry is proper if they are within the law, mind your own business.

So if you show an imprint, can see the weapon when it is supposed to be concealed, or open carry, you are a d-bag? I'm confused... Not trying to be an ass but I open carry a lot of the time and it hasn't got anything to do with getting attention and everything to do with comfort on many levels.
I can agree with you on this as I open carry too, not to attract attention but because its a pain in the arse to conceal my 1911.

yep! thank you! even more so for us "larger" fellows. lol.

i carry my 1911 OWB. normally covered with my shirt. but sometimes the dang holster just gets uncomfortable and starts rubbing. the shirt goes between my side and the gun. normaly a problem after all day wear. you know, like when its past time for a shower and your clothing is dirty and started "relaxing" more causing your pants to start slipping past a belt.

i dont care if people look at me funny or whatever. i dont want attention either. i just want comfort while i finish my errands so i can get home.
