I agree with this. I carry both OC and CC depending on what I am wearing and where I am going. I most always have at least two guns on me. If I am trying to conceal fully, its for my own comfort, not those around me. I think another person that regularly carries a firearm calling me out in public is worse than a gun-hating democrat calling me out in public.

So if you show an imprint, can see the weapon when it is supposed to be concealed, or open carry, you are a d-bag? I'm confused... Not trying to be an ass but I open carry a lot of the time and it hasn't got anything to do with getting attention and everything to do with comfort on many levels.

From the OP description it sounds as though it was no mistake for the concealed weapon (IWB) to be noticed. If that's the case, why carry concealed? Just to be noticed and get looks??? I carry concealed and I'm constantly aware of that and the principle behind it....conceal your weapon and check it frequently that it is indeed concealed and out of sight.
Do I oppose open carry? No, but I see no need for a civilain to open carry either. But that's just my opinion. Are all people that open carry douche bags? Certainly not but I've seen my fair share. Hell, I've seen/met plenty of folks that probably shouldn't carry a loaded weapon period.

I guess I'm a douche too. I CC at 3 o'clock on my belt and sometimes, when I reach for something on the top shelf my shirt will ride up. Then once in a while when it comes back down it will catch behind the gun. Once or twice I've not noticed right away and a few minutes later actually noticed that my CC was OC. How embarrassing. It's comforting to know that so many of my fellow gun owners and second amendment supporters would see this and consider me a douche.

I sometimes wonder why I think very highly of this group after all.

Personally, I've walked up to people who were visibly carrying, shook their hand, introduced myself, complimented them on thier carry piece and mentioned the ODT to them. Now that I know they are all douches I may have to reconsider my attitude towards them.

I'm right there with mdog, I cc at about 3 o'clock, and have had this happen several times. Hell I've gone like an hour or so and not noticed my shirt was lifted over my pistol an my wife will politely say something or if we are at the house try and take it.. I do greatly apologize for my doucebagery.. But please excuse me while I whip this **** out
