Vinny Fort was on that committee? No wonder this slimeball move happened.

What makes matters worse is Fort wasn't there.

I believe the votes to pass this crap were Jesse Stone, Curt Thompson, Crosby, and Hunter Hill

The votes to try to stop it were McKoon, Ligon, and Ramsey.

Bethel was also absent.

Keep hammering away at it, they will delay our gun bill AGAIN until the last minute. Put on the pressure, and get all of your friends and family to as well. Let them look at their stack of tallied "in support of hb60" phone calls and emails and face the music. Though this should not even need to be a majority issue, everytime I've asked, there are more calls in support of the bill then opposed. Keep it up. If you haven't started contacting, YOU NEED TO RIGHT NOW! Call and leave messages right now, at this hour you won't even have to talk to a live person. Just say that you want to see HB60 passed as-is and ask for (the rep's name) full support with moving it forward and passing it as written. Then send emails to those same reps. Then, after you have gotten the hang of it, call in the morning and talk to their kind office folks. They won't bite! It's really not that hard once you get going. Good luck and let's work for the best!

It's rather easy and fast to call. They are in a hurry so make it blunt and to the point. It can be done while sitting in traffic.

Have your family call, have your friends call, make the unaware aware of this step forward in attempt to restore rights.
