If you want a 243 or a 270 it looks like you get a scope too for about the same price at Sportsman Warehouse.

Sent in the rebate stuff on 8/10/17 and still waiting on rebate. Called last week and they do have my info. She said I should get it within next two weeks. Patience is a virtue.

T/C is owned by Smith and Wesson, this is a solid budget rifle. I bought a 308 and was impressed with how it performs right out of the box as well as the factory threading, detachable mag and adjustable trigger. Mine was $285 with a cheap scope before the rebate back in August so it was $210 shipped back then with a basic 3-9x40.

I was impressed by all the reviews and how well it seemed before the wife wrapped it up in wrapping paper. They also have a lifetime warranty.
