Having my Dads and Gran ma ma’s final resting place “dug” today

Going to get them off the mantle

Gonna need the core caps cut and we will have a small service when that is complete and that will be that

Again I would like to express my sincerest gratitude for all the prayers from you guys

I’m not right and may never be with his passing but truth be told I was probably never right to begin with

I'm sorry for your loss.
Almost 15 years since my Dad passed and still think about him daily. I guess that's just the norm when someone was such a positive roll model in your life.
If it's not too much to ask, could you explain the procedure in your pics. That's very interesting for a final resting place.

Definitely a positive roll model for me and I am sorry for your loss as well

6” cored holes - 18” deep in a rock on the farm bout 100 yards from the house in the backyard near the tree line - Great view of the property from that vantage point - I considered building a home beside it at one time - wonderful view

The rock is probably 100 ton of what’s exposed

Known as “The big rock” - climbed all over it as a child (seemed bigger then)

Anyway Dads cremated remains will be poured in and I’ll grout a 3-4 inch thick marker cap in place with hydraulic cement

Hope that answers your inquiry
