Thoughts on CZ?

Ass backwards slide to frame design reduces the grippable surface for racking the slide. There are MUCH better designed guns for the same or better money. CZ may well be a fine, reliable weapon but that stupid design means they don't care about creating problems for the sake of being different. Not worth the trouble.

That's why I only carry a hipoint because I can grip the slide so well.

I've had 5 CZ's. FANTASTIC handguns. I've had about 40 pistols in the past 8-9 years and IMO CZ is more accurate than any of them, just as dependable and much better looking to boot! I know that people want CZ's, so when I need to fund something I sell a CZ. I recently sold a PCR on here to fund a 2nd pre-Hillary AR. Alas, she lost, thankfully. (I just sold the AR and bought a PPQ 45. If I don't like it, it's gone and I'll buy my 3rd PCR.) My Rami, seen in my avatar, will never be sold or traded, though. The DA trigger is ok, but the SA trigger is very good. Recoil is minimal for such a small gun and it's just as accurate as the larger PCR. Other than CZ, I'm a diehard Springfield fan.

In a world full of superb guns, there's no excuse to accept retardation. If a company thinks it's above common sense, there's ALWAYS another company right down the road. CZ ****s on "intelligent design" and expects consumers to think they are special and discerning. But some people know the emperor has no clothes and are willing to say so.

And the moronic slide notwithstanding, the very idea of blind, unreasoning loyalty to a gun made in the Czech Republic is laughable. Reminds me of the idjits who drool of guns made in Crapatia and sold under the Springfield USA banner. Get a grip. Just because a gun is good doesn't make it great.

See above...I rest my case. LOL.

I was wondering when you would show up and bring the CZ hate lol

yea to each their own, but as the CZ (and design) are one of the most used military/ police weapons in the world it seems that not a lot of people have these problems.
here all many know are Glock and that's fine but move away from the USA and you will find that CZ and like type weapons really dominate in a lot of countries.
including NATO.

Great firearms and company! the slides feel more narrow but never been an issue for me. I like it actually because it adds a layer of potential safety if kids are around, makes it harder to charge for em.

What would be the basic kit to improve the trigger?
If you Google around there's good tutorials on doing a little Polish work your self...they get much better by 700 to 1k rounds too.

Can't go wrong with Cajun gun works or cz custom though..the drop in trigger is the most basic I think, maybe add a 15# main spring
