Thoughts on CZ?

The reverse slide that CZ uses is what makes them so accurate. It keeps slide and frame alighned much better than conventional design.

That and quality machining and fitting.
not a lot of dawgs get out of the CZ factory and the included test targets pretty well indicate that and that function is actually tested before they hit the streets..

What would be the basic kit to improve the trigger?

just depends on how much you want to improve the weapon.
First run about 200-300 rounds through the gun and see how you like it then.
myself for a self defense. carry weapon my concern is that it be reliable, that includes enough power in the main spring (hammer spring) to be able to pop the hardest primers and that the over all function of the pistol remains 120%, which includes ejection/extraction and cycling.
what I do to mine is simply change out the mainspring to a lighter weight, reduce firing pin spring weight and add a longer firing pin and solid firing pin cross pin.
stay at or near 13-14 pound mainspring (hammer spring) and you can get a really good trigger pull and still be 100% reliable with the longer firing pin.
the standard mainspring weight is about 18 pounds by the way.
others may like something different but thats my criteria for a carry weapon.
cost is in the 40-50 buck range or so for these .

If you Google around there's good tutorials on doing a little Polish work your self...they get much better by 700 to 1k rounds too.

Can't go wrong with Cajun gun works or cz custom though..the drop in trigger is the most basic I think, maybe add a 15# main spring

Lovin that titanium (or what ever that is) look! Having a gunsmith to fit , not so much, surely their not talking grips
