Thoughts on powered anode rods?

not a plumber so maybe i should keep quite..
After learning the life of a water heater IS the anode/And annual draining, I replace mine with standard ones. I put a new heater in feb 23 and checked the anode 3 months ago. It was 1/4 pitted. I have a rainsoft water system Idk if that hurts or helps. I have a bosch under the kitchen sink and its little anode gets eaten up about every 18 months.

It is coming up on five years for my water heater, so I was thinking of replacing the factory anode rod.

Any plumbers with reaction (pun intended) to the new powered ones?

Thanks
Ehhhhhh, the science is sound. For under$100 I’d probably try a powered one. If you’ve never changed one best advice is get the strongest impact wrench you have access to and borrow, beg, bum , or steal a socket that will fit the head of the rod.
Good luck!
