Thoughts on SW 5906?

i picked the 5906 from a great ODT'er yesterday. Shot it (it is a great shooter) took it home and removed the surface scratched an polished... what are your thoughts on this SS 9? Any others have one the have fine tuned? Thanks...

It's funny a lot of the people that I have talk to you have more than one. I thought maybe it was a Parts issue... any helpful hints on fine-tuning or removing surface scratches?

The 3rd Gen S&W's were great guns with fantastic triggers. The magazine safety is easy to remove, just YouTube it.

That heavy 5906 is sweet to shoot with low recoil.

I have a 5926 and thoroughly enjoy it .....feels much better in MY hand than a Glock though it is heavy it still feels more comfortable and natural.
And is the only pistol I shoot on a regular basis

I went and got some fits and also a gray Scotch-Brite pad

Love shooting my 5906 as well. Would also like to know any secrets anyone has that brings the original finish back to life. Iv'e heard that bead blasting can do it but just not so sure I want to sacrifice mine as the guinea pig.
