My baby girl helped me check one of my trotlines Friday in preparation of our fish fry on Saturday. We had plenty enough to feed about 35 folks. Always a good time on the boat with her.

Caught 2 good ones this morning. Caught them on zoom sexy shad fluke. They were in a lily pad covered pond. Casted into the open areas and caught them. Caught 6 in total today, my wife only caught 1 small one.

Got another nice cat. Boy caught the bait and got the cat, all by himself. He didn't want to hold it though.

Any suggestions on how to minimize the turtle by-catch? I think we got about 4 line cuts/bites from the turtles.
