Envy haha. A buddy of mine and his family goes once a year and cans a bunch of salmon. It’s never worked out for me to go. Yet. Nice one!!

If you do go on an odd year over even if you can choose, the pinks run on even years which can interfere with your sockeye catch.

My trophy mahi mahi on light tackle in Guanacaste Costa Rica Oct. 2023!

You can point out so many cool factors about Mahi.

In my mind, one would we be the taste. Best eating fish I have ever had.

But when you get one in the boat, and see not only the colors that change, but the speed those colors change, they are truly magnificent fish.

Caught a couple reds yesterday. First one was 14lbs and 31.5 inches.
The second one was 19lbs and 34 inches.
Might have had a third one but it stole my pole when I laid it down to check my others line,lol
