I make my own jigs and stumbled across one that big fish love before they go on bed. I fish all the lakes in north ga and if you hit any one of them one the right day during pre spawn you can catch big ones.

Had some luck at Juliette two weeks ago. Spots and Large Mouth. What a morning

Went down to Charlie Elliot this morning and was getting into them pretty good. They were chasing shad like crazy in the shallows. Caught on topwater, rattletrap and small weightless flukes.

Had to leave early though....Dad decided to jump/fall head first off the back of the boat into the water. Hes fine, just down one rod and his pride haha.
