With what can?

It's quiet without a can but I ran a Silencer Co Sparrow with American Eagle subs

I plan to use it on 22LR but I will use supersonic if it is quiet enough.

If you shoot supersonic, you need to keep the barrel less than 5 inches. I shoot subs in the rifles, and standard velocity through the pistol. If you shoot supers through the rifle you get a pretty loud sonic crack as the bullet goes supersonic.

I will shoot subs at times I am sure. The squirrels are in for a bad time.

I shoot CCI Standard velocity through my 16.5" barrel suppressed and it is subsonic, I chronied it at 1050fps + 10

Exactly, if you can keep it under 1,100 fps it's subsonic. Most standard velocity 22lr is subsonic.

The savage fvsr and a Dobbs ARC 22 can is the quietest i'ver ever owned. Even with standard loads.....

I saw that one on line. It does look nice and would be sharp with a can out front.
