Well I got my first AR in. This Colt LE6920. Looks like a toy, sounds like Thor's hammer striking the sun. I can't help it, I really like the dang thing. I went with the holosun sight because it was in my price range and could be here the same time the rifle was. It's dead on too. Gotta like that.

But I bought a Condor 3 point strap to go on it and the instructions are worthless. Youtube? worthless (guys standing in front of the camera and not showing you whats going on).
Can any of you guys show me how to strap this thing properly? Here's how i have it now and it hangs upside down.

Thanks!

Most importantly, what's that on your thumb?

Like this, but with a drill

I would recommend replacing your rear sling mount with a receiver end plate that has a QD sling mount socket, like this: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/100326041?pid=180467

and install something like this on the front: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1003236727?pid=918426

Numerous companies make parts similar to both of those.......I was just using those as an example. I like having my slings mount on the side of the weapon; it's more flexible and I can snug the weapon up to me tighter.

On the rear sling mount, they also make some that clamp to the receiver extension and don't replace the end plate. Lots easier for folks that don't have the tools and know-how to disassemble the back end of an AR. Here's an example of one of those designs: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1003256987?pid=738679

If you lived closer, I'd invite you over to the shop and I'd install some new sling doodads for you, but OKC is a fair piece from GA!
