I've been dealin' with ticks out here in Crawford, Co. all summer. Got up this mornin' and found one on my penis. ON MY PENIS! I loath ticks. My chickens love 'em, me not so much.
If your in the woods, as I am, check yourself ever time you come out. If you live in the woods, as I do, It's a never ending battle.
Winter can't come soon enough.

Yeah, funny thing is they don't get on her or very rarely.

Had one on my johnson years ago. Pulled it off and the head was still buried. A day later and it had swollen twice it's size and sadly warranted a doctor visit.

Too bad the effects weren't permanent.

Dinky"s advice is spot on. Spray the permethrin on you socks and shoes and inside the legs of your pants and around the waist band as well. The ticks will drop like stones.
Wrap your shaft with duct tape to keep the ticks away.
