Anyone know any way for a noob to safely remove a burr off the tip of my knife? It seems to be pretty resilient and won’t budge but I don’t want to try anything too drastic to clean it up. Any suggestions? No I don’t have a ton of tools.

And I know what a couple may be thinking..
“Dang…this guy can get that good of a pic of the tip of the knife but can’t get a single decent looking pic of an ant(another thread)the other day! Goober!”

Yes I know, but my camera is finicky lol.

it is minor but it hangs or drags real bad if your just trying to just the point of the knife for something. I don’t have sharpening stones tho.
You have knives. You need a sharpening stone. I would've suggested a quick tweak on a grinder, but the stone will work better for this. A file might work, but again I think the stone will work better. The stone will leave a better polished job in this case

Does Amazon sells these types of stones? If so can you give a link to which type you’re talking about. Thanks.

Sorry, I've had mine a long time. Maybe even before the internet really got started. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a couple good stones on the net. I'm certainly not the best at sharpening, but I get it done.
My advise would be get a medium stone. That's what I use. It'll be a good in the middle, do all. But for that burr, I'd use a soft stone. It'll cut that burr off faster. Then use the medium to finish and polish the edge. Use a 22.5 degree angle on the blade to stone
