Tipping: I can't be the only one, right?

Sushi restaurant in everyones favourite place, California, a few months ago.
Sat down, plates of food was going around on a conveyor. Ordered drinks off a touchscreen. Drinks arrived on a robot cart. When you finish the plates of sushi, you drop them down a shute on the end of the table and it counts them and charges you. Paid the bill on the touchscreen. It suggests gratuities starting at 18%.
I still hadn't spoken to or interacted with a staff member(sign at the front had said seat yourself).
Thats a no the tip. Who's it going to, the ****ing robot.

Deer Mountain, the 5-gallon water delivery company sent an e-mail to our office asking telling us to tip their drivers.

The other side of this tipping debacle is the revenge videos that people are posting, especially delivery drivers are posting online. Everything from putting peoples food on the floor with the AC blasting it to chill it down, purposely leaving items or even eating some of it. There were so many Door Dash videos going around, I don't use them anymore. Always tipped, never had a problem, just can't stand the entitled behavior.

At the 1 star places I frequent, infrequently, most have kiosks at the table to pay.
I put in my check and 15% as always and they can duke it out in the kitchen over who gets what.

i completely agree though i do normally and always have tipped the person that cuts my hair. they are in charge of making me not look like a dumbass . . . .so i'll give them a little extra to ensure that lol
