To all you biker guys that think you’re a biker

Same bike Tazz. Different color scheme (I know, black is faster. 😜) and of course I had to add whitewalls. Pimpin' ain't easy.
Crappy pic but you get the idea. 😎

Nice ride, I ditched the white walls as soon as I could. I just don’t like white walls on a bike unless it’s a really old Harley.

Yep, you’re absolutely right. Don’t know why I said it was an ‘02, it was an ‘04. I’ma correct that. I’m just gonna blame it on old age. lol
he he.. i have one as well a 02.. i tell people looking for big cruisers that the roadstars are the best bang for the buck... i have seen them in the shop with over 200k on them and still running like new... but i hate the oil change procedure on them... and of course i have one in here for service... if you have not done it.. the baron ported intake makes a noticeable power improvement.. for under 200 bucks and a hour or so, you will be very impressed.....

Yes sir, I had that bike for 9 or 10 years. Never had a minute’s worth of trouble out if it except for that stinkin’ oil change. What a pain in the butt! 😂 I had to quit riding in 2018, I broke my right leg all to hell in 2015 and was outta commission for 8 months before I got back in the saddle and rode my ass off till I backed it out of my shed one day and went a bit too quick down the ramp and when I hit the bottom it yanked my handlebars to the left, all my weight shifted and down I went. When I tried to pick it up (and yes, I know the trick to it) I got bout half way and heard and felt a “pop” in my lower back and my legs went limp and I dropped it again. Laying there on the ground it took all of about 10 seconds to realize I can’t do this anymore. I called my son to come pick up my bike and put it back in the shed and I put it up for sale. I rode for 49 years and never had a bad accident until 2015 when I broke my leg but the funny part is when my leg broke I didn’t even crash. lol! Worst injury I ever got on a motorcycle and I didn’t even drop it. I got squirrely as all hell exiting a gas station when I got on some wet pavement I didn’t see and put my feet down to get control and evidently my boot caught on the pavement and my foot got turned around about 270 degrees. To make a long story longer, the top of my right tibia was split in half on the side like a piece of firewood about 4”-5” down, split down the front about 3 1/2”, the back side was shattered into about 20 pieces, the fibula was snapped off about an inch from the top and all the cartilage in my knee was ripped apart but my ligaments & tendons were okay, stretched a bit but okay. Got me a custom made L shaped titanium plate & 7 screws about 3 1/2” long holding my leg together. Doc said it was the worst injury he ever saw without an actual crash involved, said 5 years earlier and he would’ve had to amputate my leg above the knee. He could’ve just kept that to himself, I didn’t need know that! Now I have a crooked ass leg but at least I still got the dang thing, thank God!

ouch...

It didn’t hurt till I tried to get off the bike, halfway off the bike and then it hit! I’m stuck holding onto the handlebars with my leg still across the seat and I started seeing stars. The REAL pain didn’t hit until I woke up from surgery a week later, had to wait for the swelling to go down first. For two solid months from waking up I was getting a pain hitting my knee about every two minutes that felt like a red hot railroad spike being hammered into the side of the knee that would literally take my breath away. Lesson learned….DO NOT break bones at age 55 or up! It hurts like a mofo and took over a year to heal completely. I miss not having a bike sometimes, then I remember that day and just think NOPE! 😂

These were taken a week after surgery, the top pic shows the damn Doc didn’t even fix my fibula. It’s still like that today, I wasn’t about to go through the pain of surgery again to fix it. I’ll just have a crooked leg, I can live with that I just gotta be careful with that leg. There’s 3 screws right together at the top and 4 more below those. This was right before he took the staples out, 37 of those dang things. You can feel 3 of those screws poking out the other side of my tibia. 😳
