Had some left over cedar just the right size for a few of my straight blades (including my recent deal with Biker13)

Looks good. Will the knives stay in place if you were to hang it on the wall?

Yes but I would put something on them to hold them for safety concerns. I have some magnets to go between the expanded metal and the blades.

But I built it as a table top leaner.
