Tonight's Prehistoric Comet

The Comet is sure bright tonight. The tail can be seen also really well. I had my binoculars on it and it's something to see. It's a beautiful clear night to see it. Won't be around much longer, get the view while you can.

What area of the sky should we start our search tonight?

You can see it around the dippers. You can't miss it. It's the brightest "star" there, but you need to look up before the moon gets high and bright. Last night I was still seeing it a little after midnight before I went to bed.

My wife up loaded a star gazer app on her phone to get a bearing on it last night. We still didn't see it though. We will try again tonight before the moon gets overhead.
