Top 5 or 10 Milsurp Rifles ( Accuracy#1 Collectible #2)

I cast and load my own. I'm not aware of anyone that sells it commercially. I cast a 209 grain bullet from a Lyman 314299 mold and size them to .312" (I have a tight bore on my rifle), gas checked, then loaded into brass cases with 12 grains of Unique. It's really a gallery load but I did quite well with it at the Rifleman's Weekend Vintage Sniper Match earlier this year. On the moving target at 200 yards I was able to hold a very tight group.

My, what I own and shoot list would be
1. K31
2. SKS, Yugo
3. 91/30 Mosin
4. Schmidt Rubin 1911
5. Schmidt Rubin K11

I could probably shoot the Schmidt Rubins better with an aftermarket taller front sight. I have to aim low, and I am just not used to the sight picture. I thought the 7.5x55 was going to start me down the reloading rabbit hole, but then GP 11 reappeared at ~$.60 per.

Just got one of these for my 1896/11...can't wait to choot it!

These Leupold rings did not work so I had to get another adapter...you see, this dang scope mount has a 3/8" dovetail system.

Using this adapter right now:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00W9IUWEA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And ordered this, fingers crossed, because I didn't want to use my Garand cheek pad.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0084GS2WA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have a feeling my 1896/11 is going to be wicked accurate once I get the scope on it. As you can see in the picture the lowest iron sight setting is 300 meters and the hold-under at 100 yards is very frustrating!
