So, do you think that anti-gunners only want "reasonable" restrictions, like having a license issued by the government, or passing a background check, or a safe storage law where you have to lock up your guns when you're not home and not actually using them or carrying them?

Nah, some gun-grabbers want to do to all firearms what the Ku Klux Klan wants to do to blacks. Separate water fountains and literacy tests to vote aren't enough-- they want to lynch them or ship them back to Africa (or halfway there).

As proof of how UNREASONABLE gun-haters are, this big commercial apartment building in New Jersey just announce that it was banning all guns from its property. Every type of firearm of any description, no matter if it's sporting or tactical, modern or antique, even black power muzzle loaders. If it shoots, it's banned. And if you keep it, you'll be evicted. Even if you're under a lease and the contract you signed didn't say anything about weapons.

No, you can't keep it unloaded and locked in a gun safe. That's not good enough. They have to be BANNED. Totally forbidden. Anything that shoots.

(Chances are the lease said that the management can change the terms of the contract whenever they want to and add any reasonable rules. What do you want to bet that any liberal activist judge in the Communist People's Republic of New Joisey will agree that a total gun ban, even in your own home, is "reasonable?" )

The moral of the story is don't live in apartments. The NRA/ACLU really need to be suing the **** out of these companies for discrimination.

You're absolutely correct 'GaGun...'. The radical liberal left Democrats will work to take guns completely away from the public. They are liars, sneaky and clever, with a plan that is meant to deceive the public and make their big plan come to fruition one small bite at a time.

Thanks for posting. We must stand for our rights, or they will be taking away. Democrats cannot be trusted!!

Can they also refuse to rent to blacks, homosexuals, single women, Jews, or folks that vote?

Unfortunately, it is the apartment owners right to do this. You sign a lease you obey the rules. Now a different response would be to make a sanctuary complex across the street where gun ownership is encouraged and while pointing to the totally gun-free target-rich opportunity nearby

Denying someone their Constitutional rights is now legal? So, if you do not own your home (ie, have a mortgage), the real owners can do the same. Good to know, borrowers beware.

a smart developer would do just this...and charge 30% higher rent for a comp in the victimhood complex.

Well....technically the local government where your home is located 'owns' your home so they could likely get away with this too.

Was going to mention this, as well. Just got my tax bill, and was reminded of who the owner really is.
