Tractor

I have a 47 HP diesel tractor and it runs a 6' bush hog. It will not run a larger bush hog, and I can really tell a difference when I took the stump jumper off, it will bog down in tall grass now.

On the new tractors, lots of emissions equipment above 25 HP, IIRC.

47hp bogging down on a 6'?
Slow down man. It's not a race. It's therapy. :)

The thrill is gone, get er done!

eta: we got a french built hay mower that can cut as fast as you can drive the tractor. That thing is a beast, and we run it on a V8 diesel tractor. Turn up the AC, and turn up the radio and lay the hay down. We slow down a bit after dark.
