Okay what guns have you sold or traded off and wish you hadn't.

I traded OKsteve a Taurus 970 I thought I had no use for, but now I want a Taurus Tracker bad!

I also miss that S&W 37 I handed off to FishFry just because it was my only real wheelgun, but it just didn't belong in a corner of my safe with no other smiths to keep it company.

the way I see it.. and how I rationalize trading off some of my more prized pieces is that, I can always get it back... worst case, just go buy a new one if necessary.

I enjoy shooting new stuff and playing with different weapons than just shooting the same old gun over and over again.

Where to begin? I traded a 1873 Winchester in .22 Short I wish I had back. A couple of Kahr CWs, a few 1st Gen Colts and a Ruger Single Six three screw. I've got a terrible habit of getting the trading bug and just can't stand it. I just got a MINT Kimber CDP Pro that I'm thinking about locking in the safe and giving my wife the key just to keep it out of sight.

I had to sell a Colt A2 HBAR when I first got married over 10 years ago. I still miss that rifle. I see it my dreams occasionally. Had to have some money though, most of us know how that is.

Sold it to a gunshop in Douglasville that is no longer around. Seems like the owner was going to try to raffle it off.

One day I will have another though if I ever get the money lol.

So far, absolutely no regrets...except that I've traded for more stuff that I don't want to trade off! I've actually started thinking about buying something for the purpose of trading it!!

Had a Dragunov that I flipped in order to buy a 1970 remington 700 M40... Love my M40 and don't regret buying it, but I do wish I could've kept the Dragunov now.
