It's more comfortable than it looks. I have a 2 piece saddle and with a back band I can actually sleep in that thing with no worries. It does take a while to figure out a set up that's good for you. I've never used a platform other than the top of the climbing stick platform. The angled one is key. I do 12 hour sits in my saddle with no issue. Lightweight, not bulky and any tree. Trying to hump a climber through mountains and thick brush really sucks. I'll still sit stands or climbers situational dependent but the saddle is a good arrow in the quiver.
