I sat down to make a deposit and buy a cowboy gun. Ended up reading about hamsters, dremel tools and fish tanks. Ya’ll saved me 600 bucks. Thanks!

Yes, they poop a lot. They eat, sleep, poop, eat sleep and poop more.
As for trimming their nails, not hard. They have a center vein that you want to stay clear of. Some piggies will try to bite or nip you. Give them some fresh food while trimming the nails and they will be distracted.

Raised a bunch of these little guys when I was a kid. Trimming their nails is easy, but takes a bit of patience.

Just do it a little at a time and keep away from the 'quick' at the center.
