Trouble with Smith And Wesson Rebates?

I waited a bit, but the mags came in - M&P's are my new friends 
Good luck guys! I can't believe S&W would cheat anybody. They have always had the best customer service in my opinion. I hope they get all this worked out.
Smith has farmed out the rebates to a company that does them. After talking with them last week I resubmitted. Since they say they never received my original submittal I sent it certified last week. I still haven't received my return receipt from the USPS. I'm wondering if the USPS wasn't the problem to begin with. I got my fingers crossed.
3 weeks since I sent in some rebate forms, still not showing up on their website as being received :/
This is weird the rebate company is now saying that it's in the system. I couldn't find it on the automated portion of the website like many of you have. I sent it in July and it was supposed to take up to 8 weeks to get the rebate. I waited about 8 weeks before calling. They said that they didn't receive it and I was told to resubmit on October 6th. I resubmitted on the 6th (three days past the deadline for the rebate) and sent it certified. Now after calling today they are telling me it was posted on September 3rd even though they didn't receive my resubmittal until October 9th????
I hope I get my money soon.
Now for the other rebate hassle I didnt know about until I told my wife today about this rebate hassle.
Apparently the same rebate company pulled something similar on her for a $175 washer and dryer rebate. First when it didn't come and she inquired They told her that the serial # on the machines wasn't right and she needed to resubmit. When she resubmitted and it didn't come she inquired again only to be told that the resubmittal was past the deadline for the rebate and therefore they wouldn't be sending the money. Wait a darn minute! I am not playing these stupid games and I want my darn money back! Now it looks like I'm gonna find myself involved in another hassle with these folks as I just found the documentation and she sent hers certified the first time. I hope I can get it resolved without having to whip out a can of consumer advocate on them but this is looking more and more like a bunch of dirty dealings to me.

I Still have not gotten my rebate! I guess they are hoping I'll go away. NOT LIKELY.
I sent two in a about 6 weeks ago and received one back already, waiting on the other one. The one I received back was for magazines and am still waiting on a check.
yeah usually calling and making a big stink about it usually speeds it up
