Truck is going crazy

Have you checked your blinker fluid? Seems to be a serious problem only to the 2001 chevy s10s. If you have also make sure the horn oil is at a safe level.

I had a vortec S-10 giving all kinds of problems, replaced everything you have replaced with no change. Even took it to the dealer, left it there a week, paid out the nose and they couldn't fix it. Just as a last ditch effort, I replaced the computer.................. and that fixed it. Then I made a permanent fix and sold that freaking thing.

Also have a 4.3. Check the "hidden" vaccuum line that runs behind the motor. It has a tendancy to lean too close to the exhaust manifold and melt a hole. Could cause a drop in vacuum leading to random cylinder misfire. Too cheap and easy to leave out. Good luck.

So started with a random misfire went to cyl 4 misfire back to random misfire to lean in both banks to cyl 1 misfire to random misfire again and lean in both banks or misfire lean in bank 1..... Have replace distributor, fuel pump, cap and rotor, MAF, vacuum lines, injectors(whole spider), did a compression test a few other little things.... What could be wrong? 2001 chevy s10 4.3L.... Any help would be great help

Lift the hood in a dark area or at night when the engine is running, you can usually see sparks if the spark plug wires are arcing to ground. You can wiggle them if intermittent and see if that makes them arc and or the engine misfire/stumble. Be careful doing that.

You can also pull the plugs when it's not running obviously and check the condition of the electrodes.

If this has coil pacs on the plugs instead of a distributor, one of them could be going bad. An Ohm check and a visual for cracks or arcing may reveal the bad one.
Had a coil pack that would miss when cold then be fine.
