I go with an e-tool because it comes in handy for digging as well as gashing and bashing.. A hawk would be a nice addition.

I like to keep a heavy duty straight blade in my hunting/camping truck. I recently ordered a Marine K-Bar and I’m a little disappointed in the knife, it’s not as heavy duty as I thought. What’s a good, heavy duty knife for a truck/camp knife?

Keep the K Bar and get a 12" machete for whatever else you might have to do...JMO.
