I've never researched it, but what pressure is required to ignite a primer? A centerfire strike is obviously focused on a very small surface area, so I'd imagine the pressure is quite high. The shovel causing one to go off is probably possible, though I'd imagine unlikely.

Good point. I was thinking about that when they showed that revolver. I was thinking that the bedliner wouldn't be flat with the ammo AND a revolver on top. It should have created a noticeable bulge.

A truck bed full of ammo definitely created a noticeable bulge for me.

he mentioned 22, rimfire can go off with a good bump, however, without a barrel it just pops, wouldnt "shoot" anyone, but would scare the crap out of them.
