Truglo sights experience?

I went to their worthless website and found no (none, zilch, nada, empty set) information on how the TruGlo sights work.
Are they simply fiber-optics that gather daylight?
Are there tritium-based capsules in the sights that actually glow on their own?
Either way, they are probably good upgrades from a standard shotgun bead or all-black iron sights.
I've had rifles with fiber optic sights before, and handguns with green tritium night sights, and on cloudy days or right at dawn or dusk they are both better than plain open sights.
