trying to get a shed/carport built

I wish it were that simple. In my case not so
I wouldn’t tear it down if got lawyer friend talk to him. Heck they might know got if place off the road.
My HOA is called “DILLIGAF Mountain”. I’m the President, VP, treasurer and the only homeowner so I make the rules as I go.
We kinda do as the Romans do in Sandy Springs but all bets are off on the hill in Blairsville
Damn. In Macon you can pretty much do what ever the **** you want. Unless you're on the mayor's shyte list. He has a private police force called "Code Enforcement."

We’re are having difficulty to find a land to buy, because every land we find, first we go to the County Planning & Zoning, and almost every County so far, after we present our plans, they say a solid “No, you can’t” ! (Except in Cherokee County Alabama, they are so easy to work with)…

yeah well there is no HOH. Its not the county, but the city. The lady we have being dealing with is 2nd in command with P&Z. At first she said I needed a new survey and a site plan. Then said No metal buildings. Even went as far as sending a paper stating no roofing material can be used other than wooden shakes or asphalt shingles and anything else would be left up to the Directors option. (WTF does that mean)
Getting a petition signed from the 10 houses on the street stating they don't mind if we build it. I don't know if that will help. I regret even attempting to do it the right way.
The Ecuadorians behind me in the last year parked a rv and set it up as a grow house then built about a 400sf metal building both within 8 ft of property line. (im sure no permit)
I was just curious what a fine would be for a 800sf shed. (no power water or slab) or if anyone here had to pay for such fine.
Almost made my mind up to tell the company to build it anyhow.... If I didn't have my 84yo Pops, my niece and her family, my older brother and a cousin on the same street(and my wifes 90&91 yo parents right down the road)
