Well, with deer season coming to a close, it's time to start thinking about turkey season. I am looking to buy a new choke for my Winchester 1300, for a tighter pattern past 30/35 yards. I've had the gun for 30 years, and it likes Federal #5, 2 ounce loads. The barrel length is 22". So, what aftermarket chokes have you guys had good experience with?

Trulock has a line of chokes specifically for the Federal Heavyweight loads:

Oh, I see how it is, you've been holding out on me. Kind of like a handicap.
Well, in my defense, you never asked, and I heard a rumor that you can call them in close enough to use an improved cylinder choke and a standard game load of #8 shot.

I only have experience with one but don't have a reason to try anything else. Carlson's .660

I’m still running a Colonial Choke from the 1990’s on my gun. It puts up a nasty pattern with TSS #8’s that sambo77 sambo77 loaded.
I am about to start working on getting a 3.5” load worked up for my 835 Ulti Mag.
Im running one of the old school Primos Jellyhead chokes in it .
