Turkeys have disappeared

I don't know what has happened to our turkeys. We use to have 15-20 males/females year round for the past few years. Wife and I always look forward to seeing the Tom's strut around each spring. Have not seen a single bird since last November. Has me concerned that we may have lost all our birds to predators or disease in my part of N. GA mountains. Anyone else having the same experience?

I have not seen the Turkeys on my place either. I usually have a bunch too.

Way down where I hunt too. Raccoons, I think raided all the nests

Its just odd. I usually see them around in a pasture or edge of a field or ridge. None to be seen.

I do have a few coons around regularly. Maybe raiding nests and forced them out.

I know people around here don’t coon hunt as much as they used to, so the coon population is way up.

I used to see turkeys pretty often around my property but I don't anymore. There are raccoons, foxes, bobcats, and coyotes out there. I assume they done got et.

Something may have caused them to move from your property.
I'm not a turkey hunter but I did see the largest group of birds I have ever seen last Saturday on the edge of a pasture..must have been 30 birds.
