Why no flies around the walkers? I'd think there'd be about eleventy million flies per walker buzzing around.

probably with all the other issues with zombie plagues, no decomposition that would hinder movement (not at a believeable rate anyhow). somehow they move on and on and on all the while decaying

in theory if the only transmission source were bites, you would simply need to be able to drive a tank around for a long time.
