TWD question ~ Flies?

Huh. At first I thought this was something about old people (who use walkers). I guess not.

Why no flies around the walkers? I'd think there'd be about eleventy million flies per walker buzzing around.

Do they ever explain the absence of flies?

Another good question is since the walkers eat live flesh, where is all the zombie poop? If they don't poop, why don't they eventually pop?
