Kirby is a good coach. But he is not a great one. He needs to step up and find a Lane Kiffin type O.C. and start building a playbook that matches the talent. No doubt UGA has athletes. But they are handicapped with this 5 play offense and running between the tackles on 1st down - Every. Damn. Time.

Heard on the pregame show that Kirby was upset that UGA fans weren’t in their seats at the start of the game ‘cause it looked bad to the visiting prospective recruits.
PERHAPS he needs to focus on coaching the players he already has?
Saw last Thursday on one of the UGA websites where dawg players had made a pregame hype video for the South Carolina game.
PERHAPS they should have spent that time watching Carolina game film.
Head that Jake Fromm was mocking Tennessee after the game by singing Rocky Top.
PERHAPS now EVERYBODY is saying Gooooooo Dawgs Sick’em.... cluck, cluck, cluck.
Focus has to start at the top, coach, our next opponent is Kentucky..... let’s get it right this week.

No I wouldn't. That's why I said "A Lane Kiffen type O.C.". I cant stand the guy, but you have to admire his offensive mindset. Something we are sorely lacking at UGA.

"KIRBY" a legion in his own mind, UGA DAWGS, showed up, but did not play, The NON-COACHING, the lack of participation of all almost looks like they were paid off to just play without, "HEART DID NOT PLAY WITH HEART" got have to come together they played as each played the way they wanted to do with no HEART to play as a "TEAM, "THEY PLAYED WITHOUT HEART"...

When you play individually you get your deserved results, and then you really see how pathetic everyone was and still did not attain the goal...

Say what you will,but Kirby Smart is a good coach. The players are the ones on the field, not the coach. If they don't play, it's their fault, not the coach's. Maybe for his sake, he should look for another coaching job, uga does not want a good coach.

Yes but a great coach recognizes when his players are having a bad game and makes adjustments. Smart coaches too conservatively. He doesn't bring out any big plays, or make big adjustments. He stays safe and runs the same predictable plays over and over. You know why Bama beat GA in the NC 2 years ago? Because Saban had the balls to realize Jalen Hurts was struggling, pulled him from the NC game in favor of a rookie with hardly any experience, who wound up winning the game for them. That's what makes a great coach. Smart sat there and watched Fromm struggle and did nothing.

So far this season, Fields has definitely outplayed Fromm. Hard to say how he would have done if he stayed at UGA, but I bet putting him in that game when Fromm started struggling could have made a difference...
