Ukraine’s new service rifle, the M4 WAC-47. Also the Ukraine is planning to adopt the 5.56×45 standard NATO round by 2020. They specifically requested the ability to caliber swap.

I am willing to bet over there the AR is more expensive weapon. There are more surplus AK's over there than there are people ( just a exaggerated phrase for you over pretentious a holes ). Also the machining is much more technical and the materials are much more expensive. The AK receivers are made of stamped steel. The aluminum is more costly to machine and the alloy itself is more expensive. I am sure the AR platform as a whole is much more expensive to manufacture and purchase. If they were that cheap everyone in the Middle East would be carrying them.

Way of the world . In Germany nobody wants a bmw 7 series . The hot car there is the Ford Focus . They cost $125,000+ there . Here it’s the opposite. They only chose the AR as it represents the West which is who is paying the bills . They will go NATO soon enough
